To celebrate 100 years since the setting up of the very first Wolverhampton airport, a fly in and open day was held at Halfpenny Green on Sunday 27th June.

Amongst the visiting aircraft, Classic Flight provided two of their fleet, Rapide G-AIDL and Prentice VR259, both being former Halfpenny Green residents in previous ownership.

Held on a very hot day, it was nice to see a good turn out of visitors, many taking flights over the Severn Valley in the Rapide.
